Well...we're home in Kansas....gray, dreary, COLD Kansas after a wonderful time in Florida.  Our flight home was uneventful, but Delta was crazy in Atlanta--they changed our gate 5 times!!!  The last change took us to a new concourse--fortunately our layover was 4 hours long so as I griped Dan laughed and said we had nothing better to do with our time!  I sat in an inservice yesterday that was incredibly boring, but had fun seeing my colleagues.  Darci (the young gal that teaches first grade with me) got engaged so that was exciting.  My puppy is doing well -- we were excited to see each other!! =-)  Moses is a daddy to 3 cute puppies.  Right now they look like rotweillers (I think) but Matt assures me that's what Moses looked like when he was a puppy.  Okay...that's the news from Kansas for now.  Take care family--and I hope you all add your bit to this blog!  Have a great weekend---Love you!  Dawn (who just got out of her jammies at 2:00 p.m.)

The Beach and its Goodness!

Hey family!  Unbelievably, we are wrapping up another family visit to the beach!!  Big THANKS to G'ma and G'pa for another great vacation!!  Hard to believe when we started these trips, Dave was 7 and Mackenzie didn't even exist!!  Now, Dave is the old man and Mackenzie just has a big mouth!! :)  Anyhoo -- it's been a great tradition that we all hope keeps going and going...even if the oldies have us fork over some (all?) cash the next time!!  

This trip, like all of them was full of lots of memories...Uncle Dan shaved, Grandma misquoted almost everybody and managed to fall into the hot tub fully clothed, we rode tandems (crashed them on the bridge almost daily), went fishing off the dock, Grandpa, Uncle Dan, and Uncle Rob all took drugs, we ate WAY TOO MUCH FOOD (what's new), read WAY TOO MANY BOOKS (again, what's new), and played lots of games and soaked up even more sun!!  What a great time!!

Don't just use it for Florida -- keep us posted on everything that's going on - news, pictures, scores of games, and updates (please limit the pictures and updates of your dogs (Dawn, Abby)!!
